Muskoka Landmark Introduces The Cottages at Windermere House
Windermere, ON – For 139 years there has been Windermere House. Now, there are The Cottages at Windermere House.
The iconic Muskoka landmark, with its distinctive red roof and trademark Muskoka lawn chairs has captured the essence of gracious lakefront resort living for generations. The Cottages at Windermere House introduce a stylish new twist to the famed resort’s history.
Fractional ownership is now a decade-old concept in Ontario, but the fractional cottage program at Windermere House heralds a fresh approach to recreational property developments in Muskoka and on Lake Rosseau.
Featuring just 12 luxurious lake-view properties, The Cottages at Windermere House will offer five and seven week fractions. The seven-week program provides two weeks of summer use, as well as fixed week usage in peak periods such as Christmas, March Break and Thanksgiving. No other Ontario fractional resort offers this program.
A preferred lifestyle approach is the cornerstone of the development. The ownership program provides owners with flexibility, exclusivity, convenience and value.
The cottages features over 3,000 square feet of luxury cottage living, owner access to four-star resort services and amenities, and membership benefits with an international luxury lodging organization.
“We are responding to growing consumer demand for cottage ownership on Lake Rosseau with the benefits of carefree use and outstanding resort services with The Cottages at Windermere House”, says owner and developer Paul Jeffery. Since I purchased Windermere House in 2007 we have been focused on maintaining the unique heritage of the property while introducing 21st century services and amenities to ensure the continued viability of this special resort. The Cottages at Windermere House is another step in that direction”.
Fraction prices start from $149,900. A model suite will be unveiled on June 20 to showcase the development plans. Only four cottages will be released in 2009.
