QWho is the developer?

AThe developer is Paul Jeffery, the owner of Windermere House since 2007 and a cottage owner on Lake Rosseau. He is also the founder and past chairman of Kelsey's International Inc., the parent company of Kelsey's Restaurants, Montana's Cookhouse and the eastern Canada franchise holder for Outback Restaurants. Stanley Goodman, a director of Windermere House and the project manager for The Cottages, is a long time business partner to Paul Jeffery. Stanley has a lengthy career in the international hospitality industry and formerly worked for organizations such as Four Seasons Natanya.

QHow many cottage fractions will be sold?

AA maximum of 96 cottage fractions will be sold.

QAre pets permitted?

ATo ensure the comfort of all owners, pets are not permitted on site.

QIs smoking permitted in the cottages?

AAll cottages will be designated smoke free.

QWill Windermere House be open year-round once The Cottages at Windermere House are occupied?

AGuest services, such as spa, dining and entertainment, will be available to cottage owners on a year-round basis.

QIs the beach private?

AThe beach is municipally operated but it is mostly used by visitors to Windermere House.

QCan owners sell their fractions at any time?

AYes, fractions can be sold at any time, either privately or through a realtor.

QCan an individual purchase more than one cottage fraction?

AYes, additional fractions can be purchased by an individual.

QWill a cottage rental program be available?

AYes, the experienced management team at Windermere House will be pleased to assist owners in renting their cottages. There is usually high demand for Muskoka cottages rentals.
