2012 Rate Information
Rates: Based on double occupancy with breakfast included. Children age 4 and under are our guests..
Extra person: Extra person in accommodation includes Breakfast. $25 per person per day 5yrs and over.
Senior Discount Guests: Those aged 60 and over are entitled to a 5% discount for stays of 3 or more consecutive nights.
Long Weekends: Two night minimum and weekend rates apply.
Taxes: All rates are subject to applicable taxes and 7% Service Charge.
Accommodations: Windermere House offers 56 well- appointed rooms and suites. As well as our four bedroom Windermere Cottage. All accommodations are air-conditioned, 32” plasma televisions, small fridges, irons and ironing boards and hairdryers. Our 2nd Floor Lakeview Rooms have balconies overlooking beautiful Lake Rosseau. Our 3rd Floor newly renovated Lakeview Rooms do not have balconies but have the beautiful Lake Rosseau view.
All our Platinum Suites on the 2nd and 3rd floor have balconies with the Lake Rosseau View.
Minimum Stays: Windermere Cottage and 2 Bedroom Platinum Suite have a two-night minimum stays.
Non- Smoking Areas: We are a designated as a non-smoking hotel. No smoking in guests units, hotel or public areas.
No Pets: Sorry no pets allowed.
Reservation Information
Reservation Deposit and Cancellation Policy: A deposit equivalent to one night’s stay (less taxes & service charge) is required with all reservations. The deposit, less an administration fee of $ 50 is refundable if notice of the reservation cancellation is received by Windermere House not less than 7 days prior to the scheduled check-in time. Taxes, service charge and incidentals charged to your room during your stay are due on check-out. As is standard with seasonal resorts, no refund will be given if less then 7 days prior notice is given of the cancellation of the reservation.
Windermere House is not responsible for and does not provide credit to patrons, for any non-utilization of facilities or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather, power failure or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Key Deposit: A deposit of $10 per room key is added to your account at the time of check-in and refunded at time of check-out with the return of the keys.
Check-in and Check-out Times: Rooms are not guaranteed to be available until 4pm. Guests are invited to enjoy our facilities if you arrive earlier. Check-out time is 11:00am.
Cots and Cribs: A number of cots and cribs are available at no cost. Please reserve at the time of your room reservation.

P.J.’s Lobby Bar and Rosseau Grill: Succulent steaks and deliciously fresh seafood overlooking glorious Lake Rosseau. Enjoy our main dining room with a polished casual experience that is Muskoka’s new standard.
Windermere Pub N’Patio: This is the place to gather with family and friends to enjoy great times and great food. Overlooking the beautiful Lake Rosseau relax with a wide selection of beverages and a plentiful offering of appetizing snacks and mouth-watering entrees.
WH Sushi Café: Lake Rosseau’s sole authentic offering of sushi and other Japanese dining delights. Enjoy this unique, casual cuisine in our dedicated restaurant itself, out on the verandah or in P.J’s Lobby Bar.
Dress Code: Polished Casual wear is requested in our Rosseau Grill, P.J Lounge, WH Sushi Cafe and Verandah. No barefeet and cover-ups requests for our Windermere Pub and Patio.
Weddings, Conferences and Seminars: Ask us about hosting your next company conference or that special wedding day.
Children’s Programs: Summer season only – The Baldwins located next door to Windermere House offer planned, organized and supervised activities for children 5 to 10 years. Offered Sunday to Friday 1:30pm to 4pm, extra charges apply. Muskoka Woods Camp: For older kids, they’ll enjoy an array of activities a 25 minute drive from the resort. Watersports: Windermere Marina located at the foot of the hotel on Lake Rosseau offers boat rentals and Watersports. Extra charges apply.
